Divorce Classes for Children

Utah judges have recognized the detrimental effects that divorce can have on children and have formed a subcommittee to discuss ideas on how to help children cope with divorce. The subcommittee recently started offering classes for children in an effort to help children and parents learn how to communicate better. The classes are held at the Matheson Courthouse in Salt Lake City and the Logan Courthouse. Parents with third through sixth graders are encouraged to enroll their children in divorce education.
